On 21st June, The Marston Vale Trust will open the doors to the lakeside room at the Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine for the Symphonia Academica to perform classical favourites for the summer solstice.

This sunset concert will include Vivaldi’s Four Seasons + works by Puccini, Corelli etc. Provisio have chosen to sponsor this event to support our community as well as protection and preservation of the local environment. The Marston Vale Trust is an independent charity which aims to benefit the public by the improvement protection and preservation of Marston Vale in Bedfordshire and the surrounding area for the better development of the rural environment; and the provision of public recreational and other facilities in Marston Vale and the surrounding area to members of the public at large in the interests of education or social welfare.

The Charity is realising its objects through the creation of the Forest of Marston Vale – one of twelve Community Forests in England.  The Forest of Marston Vale covers 61 square miles of Bedfordshire that has suffered from a hundred years of clay extraction, brick manufacture and landfill.

Symphonia Academica have a keen following and the professional musicians all work for prestigious orchestra’s many of them with the BBC concert orchestra.
